In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer service. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality standards. Lead, motivate, and train staff on food handling, customer service, POS systems, and food safety protocols to maintain a skilled and compliant team. Oversee inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste and optimize profitability. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales using POS systems. Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure staffing levels meet operational needs during peak hours. Enforce food safety standards in compliance with health regulations; conduct regular inspections for cleanliness and proper food handling practices. Analyze profit and loss reports to identify areas for improvement; implement strategies for cost control and increased revenue. Support staff training initiatives, including onboarding new team members and ongoing development programs to enhance skills in culinary techniques, customer service, and management. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership development. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in a high-volume setting. Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling expertise required. Knowledge of inventory control procedures, food safety management (including HACCP principles), and budgeting practices. Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; basic math skills essential for financial tasks. Excellent communication skills for staff training, managerial communication, interviewing candidates, and customer interactions. Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience managing hospitality teams with a focus on team leadership and staff development is highly desirable.
