Reporting directly to the F&B Manager and Director of F&B, this position plays a key leadership role on the floor—assisting with staff supervision, guest service, and smooth execution of multiple outlets. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, bar, in room dining, and coffee shop to ensure exceptional service and adherence to Westin and Marriott brand standards. Assist in training, coaching, and motivating servers, bartenders, baristas, and support staff to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate daily specials, and ensure staff are informed of promotions or operational changes. Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-spot feedback to support service excellence across all outlets. Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues or escalating to management as needed. Assist with scheduling, floor coverage, and shift planning in coordination with the Restaurant Manager. Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, side work, and cleanliness checks for the restaurant, bar, and coffee shop. Support beverage and coffee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and accurate reporting of product usage. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all F&B areas. Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager and Director of Food & Beverage to provide updates on staffing, service, and guest feedback. Qualifications Previous restaurant, bar, or coffee shop supervisory experience in a hotel or high-volume setting preferred. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and support staff in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment. Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including POS systems (Micros or similar). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
