Bilingual Kitchen Supervisor Briar Common Brewery + Eatery Denver, CO Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Operations management Customer service English Production management Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic bilingual (Spanish/English) Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service environment. In this role, you will be actively working the line while managing daily kitchen activities. Duties Supervise and coordinate all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Manage staff schedules, assign tasks, make daily prep/par sheets, and oversee training for new menu items and new employees. Enforce sanitation procedures, food safety regulations, and proper handling of ingredients to maintain compliance with health standards. Oversee ordering supplies, and controlling food costs while minimizing waste. Collaborate with management on menu planning, special event catering, and banquet services to meet customer expectations. Monitor shift operations to ensure timely service delivery and resolve any operational issues promptly. Create recipe sheets with measurements for new menu items. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment with a strong background in kitchen management. Extensive culinary experience with skills in cooking, food preparation, and food production techniques. Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation procedures, and dietary requirements within hospitality settings. Familiarity with restaurant operations including shift management, customer service excellence, and managing hospitality teams. Experience with food industry standards such as catering, banquet services, or catering for large events is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing staff supervision and fostering teamwork within a hospitality setting.
