(avg currently is $16-$18/hr) Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food service industry. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting your team in providing high-quality food and beverage experiences. This position is perfect for individuals with experience in bartending, cooking, or hospitality who are looking to advance their careers in food service management. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations during your shift to ensure efficiency and productivity. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service. Assist with training new staff members on food service protocols and best practices. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality. Support kitchen management by assisting with food preparation and cooking when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the shift. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service role such as bartending, cooking, or restaurant management is preferred. Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food service management or kitchen management is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
