The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, hospitality, and team leadership. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and execute all banquet events, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation. Supervise and train banquet staff, including servers and bartenders. Manage inventory control for ensuring adequate stock levels for events. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet client specifications and dietary restrictions. Utilize POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and regulations throughout all operations. Conduct staff interviews and onboarding processes to build a skilled team. Monitor budgetary constraints while maximizing profitability for each event. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations during events and evening restaurant hours. Requirements Proven experience in banquet management or similar roles within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices. Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting skills. Excellent leadership qualities with experience in staff training and development. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50lbs for setting up events. Chairs, tables, exc. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred. Knowledge of catering services and bar management is a plus. Previous experience with restaurant management or hospitality management is highly desirable. Culinary experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Must possess supervisory experience within a kitchen or food service setting.
