Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service facilities. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage food preparation and presentation, uphold food safety standards, and coordinate with various departments to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, maintain high-quality food production, and ensure efficient inventory control. Duties Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet high standards of quality and presentation. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence and efficiency. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, stock control, and minimizing waste to optimize costs. Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen activities. Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to plan menus for special events, ensuring timely execution and quality control. Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor staff performance for continuous improvement. Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and service flow to enhance customer satisfaction. Experience Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen or food service environment, preferably within fine dining or banquet settings. Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food production, cooking techniques, and food handling. Background in dietary department operations or dietary management is a plus. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams in fast-paced hospitality settings. Familiarity with inventory control systems and food management practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Prior restaurant or catering management experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and regulatory compliance within the food industry.
