Responsibilities Lead and manage the culinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while maintaining the establishment's unique identity. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house management to create a cohesive dining experience for guests. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering professional development and teamwork. Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary. Ensure that all culinary activities align with the overall vision of the establishment. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in a culinary or food service management role within a senior living community, restaurant or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of food management principles, including menu development, cost control, and inventory management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience in shift management, ensuring efficient operation during peak service times. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to quality and excellence in every aspect of culinary operations.
