Responsibilities Lead and supervise the front-of-house team, including servers, bartenders, and host staff, ensuring high standards of service and teamwork. Oversee shift management, including scheduling, staffing levels, and task delegation to optimize efficiency during busy hours. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and resolving any issues with professionalism and enthusiasm. Manage food preparation processes in collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes while adhering to food safety regulations. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation accurately. Control inventory levels of food and beverage supplies through regular stock checks and ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking. Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, customer service techniques, POS operation, and safety protocols to foster continuous improvement. Monitor restaurant operations including profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures to maximize profitability. Enforce health and safety standards related to food safety management and sanitation practices across the restaurant. Collaborate with management on hiring processes by interviewing candidates and selecting qualified team members aligned with our service standards. Promote a positive work environment that encourages team leadership, professional growth, and high morale. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with supervisory or managerial responsibilities. Strong background in food industry operations including food preparation, cooking, food handling, and kitchen management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing hospitality teams; experience in team training & development is highly valued. Knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills for managerial communication, staff supervision, and customer interactions. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and inventory control purposes. Experience in managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Prior experience in managing restaurant operations including shift management, inventory control, catering or banquet experience is a plus. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service combined with strong organizational skills to oversee daily restaurant functions effectively.
