This leadership role is perfect for someone passionate about food preparation, team management, and delivering exceptional customer service. As the Deli Kitchen Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency while motivating and training staff to excel in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven setting. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back! Duties Lead daily food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring all products meet quality standards and safety regulations Supervise and train team members on food handling, preparation techniques, and customer service best practices Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards Collaborate with management on budgeting, food production planning, and implementing new menu items or procedures Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment Strong supervisory skills with previous experience in staff training, team management, or restaurant leadership Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Knowledge of inventory control practices and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to handle cash accurately and perform shift management responsibilities effectively Culinary experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable Prior experience in hospitality management or food service management preferred Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on training & development and team motivation Join us as a Deli Kitchen Lead to inspire your team, elevate our culinary offerings, and deliver memorable experiences to every guest!
