Blondie's Diner is expanding! With locations in Willimantic , Chaplin , and Union , we're building the next generation of leaders to grow with us. We're hiring dependable, hands-on people ready to take ownership of their shift or store and lead by example. We're accepting applications for both Management and Supervisor roles — placement and salary will depend on experience and fit. What We're Looking For ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Solid cooking and kitchen line skills — comfortable jumping on the grill or expo line Experience with Toast POS , XtraChef , and Sling scheduling (preferred) Strong leadership under pressure; steady, fair, and organized Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays Excellent communication and follow-through Familiarity with inventory, prep sheets, and ordering A sense of ownership — someone who leads from the front and sets the tone What You'll Do Oversee daily operations and lead front- and back-of-house teams Maintain Blondie's standards for service, food quality, and cleanliness Support and train team members; coach for consistency and accountability Manage prep, portioning, and waste control Step into cooking or plating as needed during rushes Enforce ServSafe and state food safety standards Communicate effectively with ownership and fellow managers Create and manage schedules through Sling Monitor labor, inventory, and cost controls using Toast and XtraChef Handle guest concerns and problem-solve in real time Why Join Blondie's Family-owned diner with 10 years of success and growth Advancement opportunities available Tight-knit, team-first culture Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to cross-train and grow within a stable, expanding company
