Job Description

Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar is looking for a reliable and organized Kitchen Lead to join our team. This position is focused on managing our kitchen operations, inventory, suppliers, and daily food preparation in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations and make sure the kitchen stays clean, organized, and properly stocked. Manage inventory and monitor product levels. Place and receive orders from suppliers. Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability. Prepare and organize food items according to our recipes and standards. Make sure products are properly labeled, stored, and rotated. Monitor food quality and freshness. Help train and guide kitchen staff. Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Communicate with management about inventory needs, ordering issues, and kitchen operations. Help control waste and keep food costs under control. Qualifications Previous kitchen, prep cook, or kitchen lead experience preferred. Experience with inventory and ordering is a plus. Organized, responsible, and able to work independently. Good communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced coffee shop environment. Reliable and punctual. Food safety certification is a plus. This is a coffee shop kitchen — we are not a traditional restaurant. The role focuses on food prep, inventory, ordering, organization, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
