Operations Shift Supervisor GRACE Marketplace - 3.2 Gainesville, FL Job Details Full-time $38,000 - $42,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications Computer operation Guest relations Slack High school diploma or GED Cross-functional communication Full Job Description The Operations Shift Supervisor oversees and works directly with Operations Advocates during the assigned shift to ensure they have the necessary tools, training, and resources to carry out processes consistently. This role ensures that Advocates' interactions with guests are trauma-informed and align with GRACE's Core Values. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Director of Operations to ensure proper staffing, coaching, and training for their Team. As the primary point of contact for guests during the shift, the Supervisor will also handle concerns or grievances related to staff, facilities, or campus safety. Primary Responsibilities Supervise and work handson with Advocates to ensure traumainformed interactions that reflect GRACE's Core Values and housingfocused interactions Act as the onduty authority for staff oversight and guest services during the assigned shift, including realtime decisions related to guest behavior, campus safety, and staff conduct, within established policies. Serve as the lead staff member in responding to oncampus emergencies, including coordination with first responders, incident documentation, and communication with senior leadership. Manage team timesheets, PTO requests, and training records. Lead monthly team meetings and regular shift huddles to address training needs, process changes, guest updates, and incident reviews. Attend biweekly Management and Operations Team Meetings, collaborating with leadership to ensure operational excellence in the Emergency Shelter and across the GRACE Campus. Identify, assess, and document potential disciplinary actions for review with the Director of Operations. Support the Director of Operations with screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Qualifications & Requirements Must have been employed with GRACE for at least 90 days, or have one year of experience supervising a large team. High School Diploma or equivalent. Selfdirected, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and communication skills (written & oral). Basic computer proficiency (GSuite, HMIS, Slack). Ability to interact professionally and traumainformed with all guests and employees. Willingness to work evenings, occasional weekends, and holidays. About GRACE Marketplace
