S. Market Support An established company in the commercial kitchen equipment manufacturing industry is currently seeking a Technical Support Lead with strong experience troubleshooting and supporting HORECA / commercial kitchen equipment. This role is heavily focused on technical support operations, service coordination, and equipment troubleshooting for the U.S. market. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional looking for long-term career growth, with the opportunity to advance into a Service Manager position based on performance and company growth.
Location:
Miami, Florida Requires occasional travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting salary: $60,000 annually Growth opportunity up to $80,000 based on performance 401(k) Medical benefits PTO (Paid Time Off) About the
Role:
The ideal candidate must have a strong technical background in commercial kitchen equipment, foodservice equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment. Customer service skills are important, but the primary focus of this role is technical troubleshooting, service coordination, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical troubleshooting support for commercial kitchen and HORECA equipment Diagnose electrical, mechanical, thermal, and basic refrigeration-related issues remotely Coordinate and dispatch third-party field service technicians across the U.S. Serve as the lead contact for technical service operations and escalations Manage service tickets, service workflows, and issue resolution processes Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics Support warranty claims and spare parts coordination Identify recurring technical issues and collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment performance Train customers, distributors, and service partners on troubleshooting and proper equipment use Maintain service records, KPIs, and technical documentation Provide professional customer support and maintain strong communication with clients and service partners
Required Qualifications:
3-7+ years of experience in technical support, field service coordination, equipment troubleshooting, or after-sales technical service Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical systems Previous experience with commercial kitchen equipment, HORECA equipment, HVAC, foodservice equipment, refrigeration systems, or industrial equipment strongly preferred Experience using CRM or service ticketing systems such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar platforms Ability to manage multiple service cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (Spanish English) We are looking for a technically driven professional who wants to grow within a stable and expanding company while leading technical support operations for the U.S. market.
