Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth food preparation, and efficient team management. Your leadership will inspire staff to deliver a memorable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, including training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to ensure top performance. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation. Monitor inventory levels, control food and supply costs, and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food production and delivery. Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests. Assist with scheduling, shift management, and ensuring operational efficiency during busy hours. Support management in budgeting activities, staff training & development initiatives, and maintaining overall restaurant standards. Experience Proven supervising or management experience within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling best practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred. Strong background in inventory control, cash handling, and food safety compliance. Previous hospitality management experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, training & development, and shift supervision. Familiarity with catering, banquet operations or hotel food service is a plus. Pay:
$11.00 - $12.00 per hour
