Cafe Operations Lead The Empanada Girl Cafe |
Sarasota, FL Pay:
Starting at $21/hr + tips (approximately $3/hr additional) Schedule is fixed: Tuesday-Friday 11am-7pm, Saturday 9:00am-5pm We're looking for a reliable, organized, and self-motivated team member to help run the day-to-day operations of our cafe. This is a steady year-round position. This is a key holder position responsible for inventory management, deli case production, customer service, espresso drinks, store closing, and keeping the cafe stocked and running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Manage inventory and weekly inventory counts Prepare soups, sauces, deli case items, and freezer stock by independently following recipes and production guides Create production and restocking lists Make espresso beverages and assist customers Work independently during afternoon and closing shifts Close the cafe and complete end-of-day procedures Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Requirements:
Previous restaurant, cafe, kitchen, or food service experience Basic cooking experience and confidence following recipes independently Strong organizational and time management skills Comfortable working independently Comfortable using computers, pos system, and inventory software Reliable transportation Able to lift 40 lbs Serv Safe Food Safety Manager's Certification This is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, taking ownership, and helping keep a growing small business running smoothly.
