Shift time•5 AM to 1 PM weekdays and weekends
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing meal ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing fruits and vegetables, as well as marinating meats. Prepare soups, salads, and sauces following the instructions of the head cook. Plate and garnish meal items according to the directions provided by the head cook. Supervise the work of line cooks to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed promptly. Ensure that all cooking stations are adequately stocked with the necessary ingredients and equipment. Keep all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces clean and disinfected before and after each shift. Adhere to standard food rotation practices to reduce food waste and minimize the risk of contamination. Assess the quality of delivered food supplies to ensure they meet restaurant standards. Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards. Proper Documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP. Practice safety standards at all times. Oversee breakfast, banquet, and kitchen production. Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve. Cook orders with adherence to guest requests/special needs in a positive manner. Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles.
