Job Description
Restaurant Shift LeaderThai Mango is looking for an experienced, dependable Shift Leader to join our restaurant team and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. We are hiring for either a full-time or part-time position, depending on the right candidate.
As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, support and motivate team members, maintain high service standards, and ensure every shift runs smoothly and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesLead restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
Support, coach, and motivate team members.
Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
Prepare weekly staff schedules as required.
Process cash and POS transactions accurately.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs.
Support both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Ensure the restaurant is inspection-ready at all times and successfully manage all health, food safety, and other regulatory inspections.
Lead by example and help create a positive, team-focused work environment.
QualificationsPrevious restaurant or hospitality experience required.
Previous Shift Leader or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
Must be available to work weekdays, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Must hold a valid Food Safety Manager certification (ServSafe or equivalent), or be willing to obtain certification within an agreed period after hire.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
