Job Description

Basic Purpose The Parts Department Supervisor is responsible for leading, directing, and developing all Parts Department personnel to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective operations. This role oversees daily warehouse activities, inventory control, and order fulfillment while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Major Accountabilities / Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and monitor productivity and performance metrics for all Parts Department employees Oversee and ensure an accurate, consistent, and efficient cycle counting and inventory control process Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to team members to improve performance and engagement Partner with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to coordinate workflow, productivity, and quality standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse and distribution processes Collaborate with customer service, shipping, and receiving teams to resolve order discrepancies or shipping issues Investigate "cannot locate" (can't find) product issues and perform inventory adjustments as necessary Manage staffing levels and adjust personnel assignments based on workload and operational needs Develop and execute daily operational plans balancing labor availability with workload demands Utilize SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics and boards to monitor performance and implement corrective actions Conduct regular quality audits to ensure accuracy and compliance within all areas of responsibility Train new and existing employees on updated procedures, systems, and role changes Monitor daily order flow and ensure timely and accurate processing throughout shipping and distribution Collaborate across departments to maintain a seamless and efficient operation Support the office coordinator and administrative functions as needed Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals Knowledge and Skill Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Proven ability to supervise teams in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing demands Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management Forklift experience preferred Working knowledge of UPS, FedEx, or other shipping systems Valid driver's license required Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance and punctuality record Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Good hand-eye coordination Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
