Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Shift Leader at our vibrant casual dining restaurant! In this energetic role, you will be the heartbeat of daily operations, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. As a Shift Leader, you'll lead by example, oversee food preparation and service, manage inventory, and ensure smooth shift transitions. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality management and team leadership to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient food production and service delivery Lead and motivate team members through training, coaching, and performance management Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting audits, and coordinating with suppliers Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation procedures Assist in interviewing and onboarding new staff members to build a strong hospitality team Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Support shift transitions by completing reports, cash reconciliation, and communicating operational updates Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with strong food preparation skills Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis effectively Skilled in staff training, development, and conducting interviews for new hires Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences Experience in managing kitchen operations, food production, catering, or banquet services is a plus Adept at managing shift schedules, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring operational excellence Strong communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership drives success!
