Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced food processing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing production operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and leading a team of production workers. This position requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a solid understanding of food production processes. Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety regulations throughout the production process. Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and meet delivery timelines. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed. Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels, waste, and inventory. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Skills Strong knowledge of the food industry and food safety regulations. Experience in food production processes and packaging techniques. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with forklift operation within a food processing plant environment. Basic math skills for inventory management and data analysis. Ability to fabricate solutions for operational challenges as they arise. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
