Competitive salary based on experience About the Role Our restaurants at SBMH are seeking an experienced, hands-on Front of House Director to lead front-of-house operations and staff development. This position combines active floor leadership with administrative responsibilities and plays a key role in maintaining service standards, developing employees, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven leader who enjoys developing people, leading busy services, strengthening restaurant systems, and creating a positive and accountable team environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily front-of-house operations and maintain strong service and hospitality standards. Manage the floor during service while supporting staff and responding to operational needs. Lead FOH recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and employee development. Build and manage FOH schedules while maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Coach employees through feedback, performance evaluations, and accountability. Oversee bartender development, bar execution, and beverage service standards. Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and other front-of-house operational needs. Coordinate training, communication, specials, and service-related initiatives. Resolve guest concerns professionally and maintain a high-quality guest experience. Maintain strong communication and collaboration between FOH, BOH, and management. Identify opportunities to improve service, systems, efficiency, and team performance. Lead through professionalism, urgency, accountability, teamwork, and hospitality. Schedule Expectations This position includes a combination of management floor shifts and administrative responsibilities. 40-50 hours per week 20-25 hours of operational floor leadership 20-25 hours of administrative responsibilities Qualifications Previous restaurant leadership experience required (FOH Manager, Service Manager, Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, or similar leadership role preferred) Strong leadership, coaching, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lead and develop a front-of-house team in a fast-paced environment Experience with scheduling, staffing, inventory, and restaurant administrative systems preferred Knowledge of bar operations and beverage service preferred Strong commitment to hospitality and guest experience Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
$42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
