Responsibilities Lead shifts in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant Participate operationally in day-to-day restaurant activities Create an exceptional guest experience through friendly, accurate, and efficient service Set the tone for the shift and lead Team Members by example Coach and encourage Team Members to meet Chick-fil-A standards and expectations Assist with training new Team Members Monitor and adjust Team Member deployment based on business needs Help maintain standards for Speed of Service, hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality Address Team Member and guest needs promptly and respectfully Assist with opening and closing procedures and serve as a key holder when assigned Complete cash handling, drawer counts, and required shift procedures Communicate shift updates, opportunities, and concerns to the leadership team Leader Expectations Maintain a positive and encouraging presence throughout the shift Lead by example and consistently model Chick-fil-A's values Communicate clearly and respectfully with Team Members and Leaders Take initiative and help solve problems as they arise Hold Team Members accountable while maintaining a supportive environment Work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve restaurant goals Qualifications Previous Chick-fil-A, restaurant, customer service, or leadership experience preferred Reliable transportation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and people skills Strong commitment to hospitality and serving others Ability to coach and encourage Team Members Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure Ability to work as part of a team with shared ownership and responsibility Desire to learn, grow, and develop as a Leader Characteristics of a Successful Leader Team mindset Integrity and genuine care for people Servant leadership Strong communication Positive and encouraging Dependable and responsible Leads by example Takes initiative Supports the restaurant's vision, goals, and values Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations, including standing for extended periods and lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and arm-hand coordination as required by the position.
