$37/hour (Initial 3-month contract, possible extension)

Competitive pay rate at $37/hour Opportunity to work with a premier manufacturing client known for industry leadership and innovation Work in a collaborative environment with strong safety and quality standards Gain experience overseeing skilled trades and production teams in a dynamic industrial setting Ability to grow your leadership and project management skills What's a typical day as Team Lead? You'll be: Providing onsite supervision and work direction to 5 skilled trades personnel and 10-15 production wage employees Ensuring production requirements are met in machining, metal fabrication, and welding areas Coordinating with day shift module leaders to support maintenance projects and preventative maintenance Ensuring assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instructions, and tools for success Monitoring Control Plans, troubleshooting workmanship issues, and supervising production activities to meet or exceed quality standards Taking corrective action—including discipline—and addressing complaints to maintain adherence to policies and procedures Setting facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, and distribution priorities based on the production schedule Communicating work hours, policy changes, and other relevant information to employees Planning for equipment and facility maintenance to maximize uptime and utilization Implementing and monitoring safety programs and maintaining housekeeping standards This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have 3+ years of supervision experience in an industrial setting (required) Bring 5+ years of experience in engineering, skilled trades, or a technical field (required) Possess systems experience with SAP, and are familiar with desktop applications (MS Word, Office, Excel) Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, time management, and project management skills Are available to work 3rd shift, on-call, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed Understand safe work practices, environmental requirements, and technical concepts Have experience leading capital and expense-related projects and making effective decisions under pressure Are able to drive accountability and manage changing priorities with composure
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience Exposure to preventative and predictive maintenance techniques Experience supervising skilled trades (electricians, pipefitters, millwrights, and building/grounds employees) Experience leading union (UAW) employees Experience or exposure to automation, controls, and robotics Experience with SAP maintenance transactions and creating purchase orders in SAP What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
