Job Description

We are currently seeking a Night Shift Construction Supervisor to support our Spent Fuel Handling Project (SFHP) in Scoville, ID. The Construction Supervisor reports to the applicable Construction Project Managers (CPMs) and deputies (CoPM) and are responsible for supporting the CoPMs through daily oversight of the subcontractors' work activities. Specific duties include but aren't limited to: Provide daily field oversight of subcontractors. The CS is the first point-of-contact for subcontractor field supervision May assist, at the direction of the CPM and CoPM, in validating field work accomplished for the purpose of validating subcontractor pay applications Conduct take-offs and verification of quantities for design documents and reconcile any differences with the engineering and estimating Coordinates generation of redline drawings with the subcontractor and ensures subcontractor redlines are accurately maintained during the subcontractors' work efforts Coordinates the generation of as-built drawings Track reports, shop drawings and permanently installed material lists Survey work areas in-process and completed work packages to ensure that specified work steps are performed in sequence, if applicable, and in-process work activities are appropriately documented Assists CoPMs with coordinating daily work schedules and attends daily pre-shift briefs and/or "Plan of the Day" meetings. Communicates with CoPM on overlapping work schedules between multiple subcontractors. Identifies and assists in resolving work issues between other subcontractors/CS/CoPMs. Review daily (or as required) SPAs for completeness Understand and be familiar with subcontractor work execution documents, and the implementation of work such as hot work permits, LOTO, confined space entry authorizations, etc., as directed by the CoPM. All tie-in, use of, or problems with existing Attend subcontractor coordination meetings as necessary or by CoPM request Coordinate with subcontractor field supervision regarding progress, deconfliction, and problem solving
