Job Description
We're looking for a friendly, dependable Food Service Specialist to join our on-site Food Service team in Idaho Falls. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, keeping things running smoothly, and working in a positive, people-first environment — this is the place for you. This position supports Melaleuca's in-house café and food services by preparing fresh meals, assisting customers, and ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked environment.
Overview Shift:
Monday- Friday, 9:00 am
- 5:30 pm Starting pay of $12.90/hr. First Pay Review After 6 Months Free Company Products (Monthly voucher currently equal to $100/month value
- $1200/year) Company Sponsored Employee Appreciation Events Medical, Dental and Life Insurance 401k Clean Indoor Climate Controlled Environment Opportunities to Promote Healthy Work Life Balance No Layoffs Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service while taking and preparing food orders Operate the cash register and handle transactions with accuracy Prepare ingredients for the salad bar (wash, slice, and portion produce, meats, and other items) Monitor food quality and portion sizes Assist with daily kitchen operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace Follow all food safety and sanitation practices Perform other duties as needed to support the team Qualifications A positive attitude and commitment to great service Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Basic math, reading, and communication skills Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person!
