Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Shift Leader to join our vibrant team! As a key player in our restaurant operations, you will lead daily shifts with enthusiasm, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth food preparation, and efficient team management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about the food industry, possesses strong management abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities. Responsibilities are but not limited to: Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction Lead and motivate team members through effective supervision, training, and development to foster a positive work environment Manage food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and safety regulations Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels through accurate stock monitoring and ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability Enforce food safety protocols and hygiene standards consistently across all areas of the restaurant Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional dining experience Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, staff coordination, and performance feedback Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and customer service Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising or managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required Strong understanding of food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume setting Excellent communication skills with experience in staff training, interviewing, and team development Knowledge of kitchen management, food production, catering, bar service or hotel experience is a plus Prior experience in managing hospitality teams with responsibilities including budgeting, profit/loss analysis, and training & development is highly desirable A passion for hospitality excellence coupled with leadership capabilities to inspire your team Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your energy fuels our success!
