Kitchen Lead / Floater Classroom Support Montessori Children's House of North Barrington (MCHNB) is seeking a friendly, reliable Kitchen Lead / Floater classroom support to support our year-round Montessori preschool and toddler programs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being around young children, values a calm and orderly environment, and likes helping both in the kitchen with lunch service and in classrooms as a floating assistant. Our Montessori preschool and toddler classrooms operate year round, and our school is open currently from 8:15 am - 4:15 pm. We are seeking a candidate for the hours of 8:30 am - 4:00 pm five days per week Responsibilities as the kitchen support Receive and set up catered lunches Portion and deliver meals to classrooms Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen area Wash and store dishes and materials Follow allergy/dietary guidelines carefully Maintain food safety training Abide by all Department of Health and DCFS regulations Physical ability to lift and carry trays of food (up to 30 pounds) up and down a flight of stairs.
