Job DescriptionProvide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are metMaintain positive and effective relationships with employees. Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questionsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to managementInspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specificationsReview and approve production samples, and/or shipments as necessaryAssist management with implementation of "Continuous Improvement" initiativesMaintain records; compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and perform routine clerical tasksWhen necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activitiesCoordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environmentAble to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the jobMay provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracy.

Must have basic knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfullyMust have adequate oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignmentsMust have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needsRegularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift in excess of 50 poundsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $18.80 - $26.55 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
