Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead our culinary and hospitality operations with energy, innovation, and a passion for excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of food production, service, and management across multiple outlets, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Your leadership will inspire teams, elevate food quality, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The William Tell Hotel has a long history in the Countryside community. Originally built 50 years ago as the William Tell Hotel - this property was an IHG for many years. Just recently we transitioned to part of the Sonesta family and brought back the William Tell name. As we return to our legacy we are doing so in a more modern boutique way. The William Tell Hotel by Sonesta is currently seeking a a candidate with both culinary and administrative duties. This position currently will lead the Culinary and Administrative direction of Banquets, Restaurant and Bar and assist in the development of other outlets Responsibilities Lead and manage all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, catering, banquets, and specialty outlets Develop innovative menus and oversee food preparation to ensure high-quality presentation and taste Supervise kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and support teams to foster a collaborative and motivated work environment Implement and maintain strict food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize profitability Coordinate shift schedules, monitor service standards, and ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure Drive continuous improvement initiatives in food service management, culinary techniques, and hospitality standards Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, including restaurant or hospitality management roles Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production, cooking techniques, and food preparation Demonstrated supervising experience in fast-paced food service environments with a focus on customer service excellence Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling and sanitation Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and foster a positive work culture Experience in catering, banquet operations or dietary department management is a plus Familiarity with kitchen management systems, inventory control tools, and restaurant operations software Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering memorable hospitality experiences Join us as our Food & Beverage Director to shape extraordinary dining experiences through energetic leadership, culinary innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
