Dietary Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dietary Manager to join our team at Serenity Estates of Morris, a senior living community that prioritizes the holistic wellbeing of our residents. As a Dietary Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences that nourish both body and soul.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of our dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation Develop and maintain a nutritionally balanced and appealing dining program that meets the diverse needs of our residents Collaborate with our culinary team to create customized dining experiences that cater to individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and cultural backgrounds Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies and procedures Conduct regular quality control assessments to maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen Supervise and train dietary staff, ensuring effective communication and a positive work environment Develop and manage budgets and inventory control systems to optimize food costs and minimize waste Build strong relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dietary management, culinary arts, or a related field Strong knowledge of nutrition and food safety principles Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Familiarity with dietary software and electronic medical records (EMRs)
