About the
Role:
The F&B Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant and bar during evening hours. This position is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house activities, managing staff performance, and delivering exceptional customer service to create a welcoming experience. The supervisor will coordinate with kitchen and management teams to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety compliance. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring team members to uphold the restaurant and bar's values and operational procedures. Ultimately, the F&B Supervisor contributes to the overall success and reputation of the restaurant and bar by fostering a positive work environment and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work early morning shifts and manage a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Hospitality Management or related field. Experience working in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting. Proficiency with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems. Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe). Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff during evening shifts to ensure efficient service delivery. Monitor customer interactions and promptly address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. Assist in training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team. Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless communication and timely service. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant. Manage inventory and supplies to support daily operations and minimize waste. Prepare reports on shift performance, customer feedback, and operational challenges for management review.

The F&B Supervisor utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to guide and motivate the front-of-house team, ensuring that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities. Organizational skills are essential for assisting in managing inventory, and shift logistics to maintain smooth operations. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is critical to uphold compliance and maintain a safe dining environment. Additionally, proficiency with restaurant management software supports efficient order processing, reporting, and staff coordination, enhancing overall service quality.

Being passionate about people and service. Strong communication skills are essential when interacting with guests and employees. Reading and writing abilities are used often when completing paperwork, logging issues/complaints/requests/ information updates, etc. Basic math skills are used frequently when handling cash or credit.
