Palatine & Rolling Meadows, IL | Part-Time & Full-Time Jersey Mike's is looking for dependable Shift Leads who can keep a shift moving, support the team, and make sure our customers receive great food and service. We're hiring for two nearby Jersey Mike's locations in Palatine and Rolling Meadows . Candidates may be considered for either location based on availability and staffing needs. Compensation Earn up to $21/hour including tips.

Base pay:

$15

•$18/hour Tips average approximately $3-4/hour based on historical results Tips are shared among hourly team members based on hours worked Up to $250 retention bonus after 12 weeks for qualified employees Paid bi-weekly The Role Shift Leads work alongside the crew while taking responsibility for the shift. You'll help organize the team, keep service running smoothly, make sure daily tasks and standards are completed, and step in to handle customer or operational issues when a manager isn't available. This is a hands-on position. Our Shift Leads make sandwiches, help customers, work the register, clean, prep, and do the same day-to-day work as the rest of the team while setting the pace for the shift. We're looking for people who are reliable, comfortable taking the lead, and able to communicate well with both customers and coworkers. Restaurant experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic, good judgment, and willingness to learn are just as important. Hours & Availability Jersey Mike's is open to customers from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. Opening shifts can begin as early as 7:30 AM , and closing shifts typically finish around 9:30 PM . Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.
