Job Overview Rep's Place is looking for a dependable, energetic Restaurant Supervisor to lead our evening operations. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can keep the restaurant organized, support the team, solve problems quickly, and make sure every guest receives great service. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced sports bar and casual dining environment. You should be confident leading employees, handling guest concerns, managing cash and closing procedures, and keeping the shift moving when business gets busy. Night and weekend availability is required. Responsibilities Lead and supervise front of house operations during evening shifts. Assign responsibilities and communicate clear expectations to employees. Support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff as needed. Maintain a visible presence throughout the restaurant and respond quickly to operational issues. Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and accurate service. Professionally handle guest questions, concerns, and complaints. Monitor food quality, ticket times, presentation, and proper food-handling procedures. Enforce cleanliness, sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety standards. Train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to employees. Help maintain proper staffing levels and coordinate shift coverage when necessary. Complete cash-handling, checkout, reconciliation, and closing procedures accurately. Use the Toast POS system to monitor sales, orders, payments, discounts, and employee activity. Monitor inventory levels, product usage, waste, and nightly restocking needs. Communicate maintenance, staffing, inventory, and operational concerns to ownership and management. Ensure the restaurant is properly cleaned, secured, and prepared for the following day. Qualifications Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience is strongly preferred. Experience in a sports bar, casual dining restaurant, or similarly fast-paced hospitality environment is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional during busy shifts. Experience with restaurant POS systems; Toast experience is preferred. Understanding of cash handling, restaurant closing procedures, inventory control, and cost awareness. Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service practices. Ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and maintain accountability. Willingness to work alongside the team and assist wherever needed. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required. Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled. Required food-safety and alcohol-service certifications must be maintained. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 32.0 per week
