Responsibilities Interacts with crew members and customers using 'Tropitude' (Tropitude is our "mojo" and what makesTropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere.) Delivers 'Unparalleled Hospitality' to each customer that visits our café. Prepares ingredients for our food and smoothies. Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafes' standards. Uses our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food. Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations. Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe. Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and being responsible for the drawer. Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand. Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring food quality standards are met Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe. Uphold health regulations and safety standards in food service environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

▪Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift. ▪Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash. ▪Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers. ▪Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment. ▪Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

▪Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary. ▪Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend, and/or holiday hours. ▪Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift. ▪Fun, fast paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!

Qualifications Minimum Age:

16 years 5+ Years of experience in QSR or other restaurants /food industry experience Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience with retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food industry roles is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and quality products.
