We are seeking a Café Lead Cook to support kitchen operations by preparing high-quality meals, leading daily food production, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare high-quality meals according to standardized recipes and production schedules. Cook, season, and present food while maintaining quality and portion standards. Serve meals or prepare food for delivery during meal service. Follow production schedules, tickets, and documentation procedures. Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas. Properly store, label, rotate, and dispose of food following food safety guidelines. Maintain organized refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and food production planning. Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and safety concerns promptly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment. Provide leadership and support to kitchen team members during daily operations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous cooking or food preparation experience required. Leadership or supervisory experience in a commercial kitchen preferred. Ability to lift 35 pounds or more repeatedly. Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and stand for extended periods. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check. Must be able to consent to a drug screen. Preferred Qualifications ServSafe® Certification or the ability to obtain certification. Experience in corporate dining, healthcare, education, or high-volume food service. Experience with inventory control, ordering, and production planning.
