The position manages the front and back of the house staff and schedules; ordering and inventory; daily oversight of food production and quality. The position will provide direction for cooks, wait staff, and others to ensure all functions of the Dining Department are performed efficiently and correctly.
Responsibilities:
Lead a quality dining program that will enhance the meal experience at our community. Ensure that the dining program at our community meets federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensure that the food service operation is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Manage Culinary department staff. Provide a nurturing and pleasuring dining experience. Develop and maintain schedules for both front of house and back of house team members. Work with leads to ensure schedules meet budgets and provide the level of food quality and service outlined for our residents. Conduct monthly Chef meetings with community residents to plan for additional menu modifications, ensuring that community preferences are incorporated into menus and events. Understand all aspects of the culinary operating and staffing budgets and ensure that financial goals are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
One to two years' experience in a similar position preferred. Technical training and prior food service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. Current ServSafe certification preferred
