Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Crew Member and Shift Leader, where you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional food service experiences! In this energetic role, you will assist with food preparation, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. As a shift leader, you'll also take on responsibilities to ensure smooth operations, motivate team members, and uphold our high standards of service. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of your contribution to our vibrant restaurant community. Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following safety and quality standards, including handling ingredients with proper sanitation practices. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly, ensuring excellent customer service. Assist customers with their orders, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety regulations are followed at all times. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and balancing registers at the end of shifts. Support team members during busy periods by providing guidance on food prep, serving, and food industry best practices. Lead by example in promoting a positive environment, managing time effectively to meet service goals while adhering to sanitation and safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills including basic math for cash handling are advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while multitasking effectively. Leadership qualities for those interested in advancing into shift leader roles; previous supervisory experience is beneficial but not mandatory. $13.00 - $22.00 per hour
