Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities within the banquet kitchen to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Oversee food quality, presentation, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with event planners and service staff to meet specific client requirements and event timelines
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist in menu planning and development for banquet events
- Address and resolve any operational issues that arise during events Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen supervisory role, preferably in banquet or large-scale catering settings
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
