POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for facilitating activities on a designated shift to ensure effective and efficient supervision of assigned facility and its clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following: Acts as point person for designated shift operations, providing supervision of assigned facility and its residents Enforces policies and procedures of the facility Ensures client and staff safety Performs hourly rounds throughout the entire facility Ensures accountability of clients to the facility policies guidelines Observes and documents any client behavior not adhering to facility guidelines Performs client admissions and assesses appropriate housing needs of new arrivals to the facility Properly documents any discharges from the facility Provides operational services of Monitors Office (Parole Plan, Resident Verification, etc.) Responds to any medical situation that occurs within the facility Makes medications available to clients in a responsible fashion and properly document Ensures the facility and grounds are kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition Facilitates contraband searches of clients and their rooms Facilitates and documents drug screening of clients Assists Detox and Overnight Staff as needed
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent required RPSS or CADC or ability to obtain either Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office products Active Driver's License or ability to obtain within 45 days of hire CPR Certified Strong interpersonal skills with ability to resolve conflict Strong organization and effective time management skills Self-motivated Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
