Job Description

FOOD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Extra-Ordinaire Double Kwik Convenience Stores Do you love great food—and believe doing it right matters? Are you the person who notices when standards are slipping and knows how to help people get back on track? Do you enjoy teaching, coaching, and working side-by-side with a team rather than simply telling people what to do? Can you walk into a busy convenience store kitchen, see what needs attention, roll up your sleeves, and make it better? If so, Double Kwik may be looking for you.
THIS ISN'T A DESK JOB. IT'S A PEOPLE + FOOD + STANDARDS JOB.
Double Kwik is looking for a Food Service Technician who will travel from store to store helping our food service teams deliver the quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety our customers deserve. You'll be part trainer, coach, problem solver, standards champion, and extra set of hands. One day you may be helping a new team member learn the right way to prepare a Double Kwik favorite. The next, you may be coaching a manager on food safety, checking equipment and temperatures, reinforcing an SOP, helping organize a kitchen, or identifying why a store isn't consistently executing the Double Kwik way. Your job is not simply to inspect what's wrong. Your job is to help people get it right.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll travel throughout our Double Kwik locations and work directly with store managers and food service teams to: Teach and reinforce food service SOPs and operating standards Train team members on proper food preparation, handling, storage, and sanitation Reinforce food safety standards every single day Coach employees on recipe execution, portioning, presentation, freshness, and quality Help ensure kitchens and food preparation areas are clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready Observe food service operations and identify opportunities for improvement Provide hands-on retraining when standards aren't being met Help managers develop stronger food service habits within their teams Support the rollout of new food items, recipes, equipment, procedures, and promotions Help create greater consistency from store to store and shift to shift Be another set of eyes and ears for our Food Service leadership team Celebrate what's working—and help fix what isn't
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who understands that food service excellence happens in the details. You should be comfortable working in an active store environment and willing to jump in alongside the team. You need to communicate clearly, teach patiently, coach confidently, and hold people accountable without losing the relationship. Food service, restaurant, convenience retail, kitchen operations, food safety, training, or multi-location experience would be valuable. But just as important, we're looking for someone who cares about doing things the right way—even when nobody is watching. You must be comfortable traveling regularly between Double Kwik locations. Your workplace isn't one store. It's our stores.
WHY DOUBLE KWIK?

Apply if you notice the details others miss. Apply if food safety and cleanliness are non-negotiable for you. Apply if you're willing to get in the car, go where you're needed, roll up your sleeves, and help a team succeed. And apply if you believe Clean. Fresh. Right. Every Time. isn't just a slogan.
