Job Summary The Cashier / Food Prep is responsible for creating and designing custom sno-balls consistent with Brooke's Sno-World's concept. The Cashier / Food Prep will be expected to advertise any product of choice or offer additional items in determination to increase sales. The Cashier / Food Prep will also be responsible for keying in orders correctly and processing transactions on POS System. The Cashier / Food Prep is also responsible for safely preparing food and desserts consistent with Brooke's Sno-World's concept. Responsibilities and Duties Able to operate POS System and change receipt paper when alarmed. Responsible for charging and keying correct items ordered by customers into POS System. Must call out sno-ball flavor to expediters if flavor is not on popular rack. Must repeat full order to the customer before collecting payment. Able to provide or explain pricing information to customers upon request. Responsible for double counting assigned POS drawer upon arrival and when leaving off shift. Able to troubleshoot Sno-ball Machine (Clogged, Unstick Ice, Tighten or Loosen Wheel, Ice sliding back in opposite direction). Ensure that Window/POS station is stocked with designated supplies at all times. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures. Ensure food safety and proper handling of food items. Ensure food and desserts are presented with topmost presentation. Responsible for correct packaging of product according to Brooke's Sno-World concept. Responsible for keeping dishes washed/sanitized and placed back in designated area. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures.
