Shift Lead Great American Cookie - 3.5 Port Allen, LA Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Guest services Full Job Description At Great American Cookies, the Shift Lead is responsible for supporting the Store Manager with the overall operations of the store. Their duty is to oversee day-to-day operations while creating a fun environment for guests that will keep them coming back time and time again. This position reports to the Store Manager in a particular operating location. The Shift Lead is responsible for managing their individual shift, decorators, and associates. Additionally, they are responsible for maximizing sales growth, operating the store per company standards, and delivering exceptional customer service consistent with the culture of Great American Cookies and FRH. Primary Accountabilities In addition to following Great American Cookies and FRH policies and procedures, principal accountabilities are, but are not limited to: Assist the Store Manager with maximizing sales and profits within the store. Responsible for meeting store operations and customer service objectives based on Great American Cookies and FRH standards. Manage all cash handling procedures in the store including making deposits. Prepare ingredients for baking and decorating. Operate an oven and bake ingredients within standard constraints. Decorate cookies and cakes with a wide variety of templates. Ensure cleanliness of the store and all preparation areas. Serve guests and create an exciting experience. Operate a register and ensure accountability of money and cash handling procedures are followed. Ensures that all Company policies and procedures are followed. Perform paperwork and other administrative tasks. Adhere to all Great American Cookie and FRH standards. Perform other duties as required. 1 year of retail and/or food service experience. 1 year of customer service. 1 years of cake decorating talented art or drawing abilities Excellent customer service skills. Good verbal communication. Ability to multi-task. Attention to detail. Must be a team player. Must be 18+ years of age.
