Responsibilities include:

Manage daily activities of employees to ensure efficiency and timely customer service. Supervise employees in various duties such as serving, packaging, and operating counters. Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilages. Track product inventory and communicate needs for kitchen prep via nightly recap. Assign work for deli team on daily basis. Provide training to staff on company policies, sales and safety guidelines. Ensure employees follow company policies and store rules. Ensure that products are properly labeled with prices and dates. Interact politely with customers while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding store operation. Operate all food preparation machines and equipment. Receive, unload and stock the food items. Ensure that facility is maintained neat, clean and safe.

Requirements:

Food service industry experience is preferred. Training will be provided; we encourage willingness to learn new skills. Candidate needs to be versatile, self-directed and able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for up to an eight hour shift. This position is full-time and includes nights (until 9:30pm) and weekend shifts; pay commensurate with experience.
