About the Role Pressed Cafe is seeking a dependable and motivated Shift Lead to support daily café operations and help guide the team during their shift. This role works closely with the management team to ensure smooth operations, excellent guest service, and a positive team environment. The Shift Lead plays an important role in keeping the café running efficiently by assisting with team coordination, maintaining service standards, and helping teammates stay organized and supported during busy shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking initiative and developing leadership skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment. What You'll Do Support daily shift operations and assist managers in keeping the café running smoothly Help lead by example by delivering excellent guest service and maintaining a positive team environment Ensure consistent food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards Assist in coordinating workflow between the kitchen, counter, dining room, and drive-thru Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the shift Help train and onboard new team members Address guest questions or concerns in a friendly and professional manner Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace Communicate any operational updates, concerns, or successes with the management team What You Bring 1-2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience Strong teamwork and communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Dependability and the ability to take initiative during busy shifts Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Interest in growing into a leadership role within the company Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable managing multiple priorities during a busy shift We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:
