Job Description

Food Service Supervisor Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the pioneer valley for over 125 years. We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient centered care. Our Food Service team is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team. The Food Service Supervisor will supervise the activities of Food Service staff preparing patient meals and meal trays, will also assist Starter with peak meal times to ensure efficient patient meal delivery. Schedule will include rotating weekends and holidays, and the individual must be available for AM and PM shifts as late as 8pm.
Applicants must have:
A passion for caring about a community through quality work in a stand-alone hospital. A drive for learning new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly changing department. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement. The ability to keep our internal clients informed of what you are doing and how long tasks will take.
A TEAMWORK MENTALITY REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts or related field preferred; Certified Dietary Manager preferred; Minimum of two years of Food Service Supervisory experience required
