We have a need right now at our Jamaica Plain, Assembly Row, and North Station locations for a shift leader position. This person would help with opening or closing the store, and be the team leader when on duty. We are a small business and need dependable leaders to help us take care of the store's day to day operations. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has hard work ethic. This position is a customer facing position and is also a position where you are leading team members on their daily duties, so we need someone who likes to deal with people, is friendly and has a positive attitude. Strong leadership skills and a passion for healthy food are also highly appreciated!

Some responsibilities include:

Assist with day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing duties Experience with food preparation and proper use of coffee equipment Assist with vendors, do inventory, and food/supplies as needed Exceptional customer service skills are a must Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy Nurture friendly relationships with customers Requirements Work experience as a Cafe Leader and barista Hands-on experience with professional coffee/espresso machines Availability to work within operating hours (including weekends and holidays) Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team Positive attitude Passion for healthy food Flexibility in schedule Must have reliable transportation Must be able to commit 30-40 hours per week to the job.
