The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and a strong understanding of food handling and management within a restaurant or hotel setting. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of staff members to deliver high-quality service. Duties Supervise daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards and protocols. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to provide excellent customer service in food service and hospitality settings. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock for kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the shift promptly. Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives aimed at improving service quality and operational efficiency. Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities. Requirements Previous experience in hospitality management or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Experience working in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments is an advantage. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide team members effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in coffee preparation or cooking is beneficial but not mandatory. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
