Duties Lead and supervise restaurant team members during assigned shifts, fostering a positive and productive work environment Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, transactions, and cash handling with accuracy Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and coordinate food production to minimize waste and optimize resources Ensure compliance with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations across all areas of the restaurant Train new staff members on service procedures, POS operation, food safety practices, and customer service excellence Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to guarantee satisfaction and uphold the restaurant's reputation Assist in managing restaurant budgets, profit & loss analysis, and overall operational efficiency during your shift Support kitchen management by supervising food preparation processes and maintaining high culinary standards Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, interviewing potential team members, and conducting performance evaluations Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience within the hospitality or food industry Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting Hands-on experience in managing inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen operations Prior management experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions accurately along with basic math skills for financial tasks Experience in training staff members on operational procedures and customer service techniques Knowledge of restaurant management principles including budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and staff scheduling Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your leadership fuels exceptional guest experiences!
