Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with experience in both casual and fine dining environments. You will be responsible for training staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring a smooth workflow. Train, develop, and manage staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards. Assist in budgeting and financial management of the department. Provide leadership during shifts, addressing any issues that arise promptly. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members. Collaborate with kitchen management to enhance menu offerings and improve guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or a supervisory role within the restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes. Familiarity with various POS systems; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training & development. Background in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
