Job Description

Starbucks is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead daily store operations and deliver an exceptional coffeehouse experience. You will support baristas, model Starbucks' customer service standards, and ensure consistent drink quality, cleanliness, and store readiness. Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, deploying partners on the floor, and maintaining food safety and brand standards. You'll coach and train partners, help resolve customer concerns, and support inventory and merchandising. Responsibilities Supervise daily shifts, deploying partners to ensure smooth, efficient store operations Deliver and model exceptional customer service and Starbucks experience Prepare beverages and food items to Starbucks recipes and quality standards Handle cash, POS transactions, refunds, and safe/tilt procedures during opening and closing Support and coach baristas through on-the-job training and feedback Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards throughout the store Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and ordering support Execute merchandising standards and promotional set-ups Help resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed Open and/or close the store following Starbucks policies and procedures Required Skills Customer service Cash handling and POS systems Team leadership Barista skills and drink preparation Food safety and sanitation Time management Inventory and stock rotation Conflict resolution Basic scheduling support Merchandising and store presentation
